Roland J. Schmidt

Roland J. Schmidt, Age 93, of Dousman, WI passed away January 14, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born April 26, 1928, in Milwaukee, WI the son of late Joseph and Anna Schmidt. He was the youngest of 2 sons. On July 30, 1966, Roland married Lillian Pedrotti who survives. Roland graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a master’s degree in Education. He worked 38 years for Milwaukee Public Schools in elementary education. Prior to this, he served in the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Lillian; son and daughter-in-law, Micheal and Jennifer of Dousman, WI; grandchildren Abby of Milwaukee, WI and Jacob of Dousman, WI. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at ST. PAUL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, S38w31602 Wern Way, Genesee Depot, WI, from 9:30am to 11:00am. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am. Roland will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined. Roland was an avid gardener, and the family has requested a flower be planted in your garden in memory of Roland
