PEGGY A STEELE, age 73, of St. Paris, OH passed away at 3:48 PM on Thursday January 12, 2022 at Soin Medical Center, Beavercreek, OH. She was born on March 4, 1948 in Piqua, OH to the late Lester Arnett and Deloris Poling. Peggy is survived by three children: Sirena (Patrick) Hayes, St. Paris, OH, Robert Johnston, Piqua, OH, and Tom (Candi) Allmann, Piqua, OH; five brothers: Larry Arnett, Gettysburg, OH, Charles Arnett, Wilmington, OH, Scott Berryhill, Piqua, OH, Mike Berryhill, Piqua, OH, and Rick Berryhill, Piqua, OH; four sisters: Cathy Baker, Piqua, OH, Rhonda Brown, Piqua, OH, Connie Rogers, Piqua, OH, and Bonnie Berryhill, Arcanum, OH; seven grandchildren: Cassie Johnston-Hunt, Katlyn Sykes, Daniel Allmann, Andrea Allmann, Gregory Makris, Isaiah Owens, and Megan Allmann; eight great-grandchildren; two life long friends: Shirley Brown, Greenville, OH and Sylvia Clemons, Troy, OH; and her beloved pet Little Bit. She was preceded in death by one grandson: Aaron Lucas, one sister: Deb Cassel and the love of her life: Steve Lewis. Peggy worked for Waffle House for 30 years. She was a treasure hunter and enjoyed going to thrift stores, garage sales and she loved going fishing. Services for Peggy will be at the convenience of the family.
