Patricia J. Maher of Harrington, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022, at her home, she was 85.  Patricia was born in Providence, Rhode Island to the late, Everett G. and Catherine A. Finnell.

Patricia was a 1954 graduate of the St. Xaviers School.  She retired as the office manager for KJM Transportation of Harrington.  One of her favorite things to do was to sit on her front porch and talk to anyone that passed by.  She was always up to date on the town gossip.  Some of Patricia's most beloved moments were spent around the pool surrounded by family, friends, neighbors, where everyone that knew her just called her Nan.  Patricia was always outgoing and friendly and loved people.  She will be sadly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Maher and a sister, Marlyn Clements.

She is survived by her children, Patricia K. Maher, Edward E. Maher (Donna), Dennis F. Maher (Eddie and Tommy), Kenneth A. Maher (Diane); grandchildren, Kenneth Justin Maher, Kimberly Maher, Jaqualin Maher, Connor Maher (Marina), Liam Maher (Amanda), Declan Maher; great grandchildren, Kenneth Justin Maher Jr., Collin Maher, Kenzliegh Maher, And Karson Maher.

A Memorial Service for Patricia will be on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, at 12 noon, with a visitation starting at 11AM.  Interment will take place at a later date at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro.  Delaware guidelines are in effect for social distancing and masks.
