Frances Brenton Obituary

In Loving Memory: Frances Ella Brenton May 17, 1943 - January 15, 2022

It is with broken hearts and tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Frances Brenton (nee Harnum), on Saturday, January 15 2022.

She is predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Sidney Harnum; sisters, Elaine Harnum, Olive Welsh, Nellie Grenier, and Shirley Woodring; brothers Alex Harnum and Sterling Harnum; mother-in-law and father-in-law Alice and Albert Brenton.

Anyone who knew Frances will remember her as a warm, kind and loving person. Someone who loved to carry-on and bring a smile to those around her.

Leaving to mourn with so many wonderful memories is her husband, Eric; daughter, Deanne (Shawn Walsh) and son, Ron (Sheila); her three wonderful grandchildren whom she adored... Samantha, Katie and Shane and two great-grand daughters Rory and Nora; as well as a large circle of family and friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitation and service to celebrate Frances’s life will be limited.

As an expression of sympathy in Frances’s memory, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society Newfoundland and Labrador.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff of 2 South East in Pleasant View Towers for the wonderful care that they provided Frances during the past 6 months.
