William Jerry Craig, 78, of Vale, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022.

Born in Cleveland County, on May 19, 1943, he was a son of the late Pate Willard Craig and Mattie Bell Parker Craig. He was retired from Century Furniture. He was a member of North Brook Baptist Church and former member of the West Lincoln Optimist Club.

In addition to his parents his is preceded in death by a brother Carroll Craig.

He is survived by his wife of almost fifty-nine years, Glenda Sipe Craig; a son, Todd Craig and wife Tonya of Lawndale; a daughter Pam Williams and husband Eddie of Lincolnton; a brother Eric Craig of Vale; three sisters, Shirlene Thompson of Hickory, Brenda Arrowood of Newton and Joyce Warlick of Vale; five grandchildren Olivia Williams, Amanda Williams, Hannah Craig Myers and husband, Michael, Ethan Williams and Pate Craig; and a great granddaughter, Katie Belle Myers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm, at North Brook Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 3:00 pm at North Brook Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Wise and Dr. Wade Dellinger officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
