Keith A. Eastman Oneida-Keith A. Eastman, 62, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 10, 2022, at the Oneida Healthcare Center, following a lengthy illness. He was born on May 14, 1959, at Fort Hood, Texas, the son of the late Arthur and Judy Elliott Eastman. In his younger years he was raised in Madison with his late grandmother, Catherine Eastman. Later in his youth, Keith had attended Madison High School. On May 21, 1993, in Waterville, he married Julie Reese. Keith had worked for Pratt and Associates as the Facilities Forman, the owners of Broad Street Industrial Park, at the former General Electric Building located on Broad Street in the City of Utica. He previously was employed by General Electric at the same location for numerous years, prior to GE’s departure from Utica. He was an avid outdoorsman, who especially loved fishing. He also enjoyed the beauty of the woods, hunting and searching for puffballs. He was a known adventurer, who would “hit the highway,” for numerous adventures. He would “cruse around,” taking in the sights, and the people he would meet along his journey. He held a deep love for Julie, and their eight-year relationship prior to their marriage. Keith was a devoted father and grandfather. Keith is survived by his wife and constant companion of 37 years, Julie of Oneida; his children: Destiney Eastman Labarge, and her husband Joseph of Ogdensburg, Renee Eastman and her life companion, Bobbyjo Catello of Verona, and Josh Eastman, and his life companion Lauren Adams of Clinton; his cherished grandchildren: Madison Catello, Bella-Anna Eastman, Trevor Martin, and Ian Martin; his siblings: Brent (Cookie) Eastman, Bart Eastman, and Richard (Cindi) Eastman; his step brother Roger (Stacey) Friend and his step sister Colleen (Deverett) Hill. Keith is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Art and Judy, and his favorite paternal grandmother, Catherine Eastman. A Celebration of Keith’s Life, will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 1-4 PM, at the Kelley-Phillips Post 569 American Legion Post, 115 Madison Street, Oriskany Falls.
