Shirley Ann McLaughlin Shipe Drummond, 79, of Knoxville, passed away, September 1, 2016 at Shannondale Health Care Center. She was born I Greeneville, TN on June 13, 1937 to the union of Effie Charles and Clarence McLaughlin. She was preceded in death by her only brother, Clarence McLaughlin and her first husband, Abie Shipe. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Harvey Drummond. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: James M. Shipe Sr., Renica Paulauskas (Lawrence), Michael Shipe, Larry Shipe Sr, Melonie Collins (Ralph), Angelo Shipe Sr; her grandchildren, Alicia Colon, James Shipe Jr., Jacob Shipe, Madonna Murphy, Tasha Shipe, Kesha Shipe, Larry Shipe Jr., Briana Shipe, Tyler Rice, Angelo Shipe II, Andrianna Shipe and Alex Frith; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Shannondale Health Care Center for the care and compassion shown to Mrs. Drummond. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 11am – 12pm at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral will begin at 12pm with Rev. Darris Waters officiating.
