Mr. John David Robinson, age 57, of Coeburn, Virginia, passed away Thursday (January 13, 2022) at his home. Born May 26, 1964 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of Vivian B. Whited Robinson Ray of Swords Creek, Virginia and the late Robert Andrew Robinson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Robinson and one brother, Robert Robinson.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his step-father, Steve Ray of Swords Creek, Virginia; two sisters, Tamara J. Plaster and husband, Larry of Rosedale, and Rosemary Robinson of Swords Creek; two brothers, William Andrew Robinson and wife, Wanda Kay of Illinois and James E. Robinson of Coeburn; sister-in-law, Reba Robinson of Swords Creek; three nieces, one nephew, and many special aunts, uncles and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Claude “Junior” Ray, Rev. Daniel Richardson, and Rev. Ellis Whited officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lebanon, Virginia. Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Monday.
