Juanita Jean Money

Juanita Jean (Stottlemyre) Money died on January 13, 2022, at the age of 92. Born in 1929 to John and Gertrude (Bernard) Stottlemyre of Keystone, Oklahoma. During her formative years her father worked in the oilfields around the Red Fork, Sand Springs, and Keystone, OK areas. Her mother was a homemaker during these years. Juanita graduated from high school in Keystone, OK where she would later marry Carmon Gray in 1947. From this marriage was born Anna (Gray) Miller, and Bo Gray. In 1991, Juanita married Dale Money. Juanita lived a colorful life and had several hobbies of which she seemed to love gardening and sewing the most. Her collection of angel figurines and dolls are still talked about today amongst her great-grandchildren. When she was able, she also loved to round dance. On birthdays and holidays, she would often send cards or letters with monetary gifts that always included her signature phrase, “God loves you and so do I!” In her later years, she participated in a program with the Mannford Public Schools called the “Foster Grandparents”. From this experience is where she picked up the nickname “Granmoney” which she always seemed to enjoy. Preceded in death, by her daughter, Anna Miller, and both of her parents. She is survived by her son, Bo Gray, her husband, Dale Money, her brothers, William, Johnny, Robert, and Doug Stottlemyre, and her sisters, Peggy Robey, Mary Robb, Velva Rayon, and Wilda Campbell. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Copyright Notice © 2022 (Chapman-Black Funeral Home) ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
