Bobby Gene Hicks, 83, of Naples, FL passed away peacefully at home on January 12, 2022 surrounded by loving family.<br> <br>He was born on April 21, 1938 to the late Earl and Violet (Rose) Hicks and grew up in Harrisburg, IL. Bobby spent his career working as a train conductor for Chicago and North Western Railroad. After retiring, he relocated to Naples, FL where he enjoyed fishing, camping, working at Publix, being an active member of his church and telling his endless "stories."<br><br>Bobby is survived by his children, David Richards, Blaine (Ramona) Daugs, Jeffrey (Laurie) Daugs, Cheryl (Robert) Browne, Beverly (JT) Tarbox, Robert (Grace) Hicks, his grandchildren Nicole Daugs, Lisa Daugs, Erika Daugs, Steven Daugs, Abigail Tarbox and Emily Daugs, as well as beloved sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon (Larson) Hicks, former wife Sylvia (Pogorelsky) Hicks, parents Earl and Violet (Rose) Hicks, daughter Margaret Ilene Richards, sister Ruth (Hicks) Moore-Farrell and brothers Earl Jr., James, and Harold Hicks.<br><br>A memorial service will be held at a later date at Shepherd of the Glades Lutheran Church in Naples, FL.<br><br>Those wishing to share a condolence or remembrance with the family may do so by visiting www.legacyoptions.com<br><br>A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Shepherd of the Glades Lutheran Church, 6020 Rattlesnake Hammock Road, Naples, FL at 11:00 am.Obituary
