FB James
Funeral services for FB James will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Flactor Baptist Church with Reverend Greg Mortensen officiating. Burial will follow in Glass Window Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday, January 14th beginning at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until the time of service. FB was born October 6, 1947, and passed away January 12, 2022, at the age of 74. He was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish and attended Hicks High School. For many years, he worked for the Louisiana Department of Transportation in the Bridge Department before retiring. FB loved tending his animals on his small farm and was especially fond of his horse, Old Buck. He enjoyed traveling to wrestling events with his mother and was an avid fan of the Junk Yard Dog. FB had many memories of riding on trail rides in Vernon Parish and spending time with his family. FB was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Earl James and Audrey Elizabeth Bryant James; brothers, LO Bynog, WL Bynog, and Earl “Buddy” James; and sister, LD Henry. Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Elmer James; sisters, Pearlie Lewis, Florine Drake (Johnnie), Earline Bennett (Leonard), Connie Harvey, and Audrey Hagan (Shorty), sister-in-law, June Bynog; twenty-nine nephews, twenty-five nieces, fifty-eight great nephews, fifty-three great nieces, thirty-five great-great nephews, forty-three great-great nieces, and eight great-great-great nephews. Pallbearers will be Lynn Bennett, Danny James, WL Bynog Jr., Davy Harvey Jr., Marlin Downs, Curt Williams, Jake James, and Gus DeRush. Honorary pallbearers will be James Hagan, Randy Burns, Terry DeRush, Donny James, Reginald Bennett, Carlan Hagan, Toby James, Benjamin Cardy, and Colton Williams.October 6, 1947 - January 12, 202210/06/194701/12/2022
