Stephen D. Bull Obituary

Stephen D. Bull age 55, aka Squirrel. As Stephen might put it. " OH SNAP" " ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME." I Took 2021 out with bang after a 19-month battle with cancer. My fight ended December 31, 2021. Stephen resided with his friend Tina and her son Charles in Georgetown. He was born in Oneonta NY to the late Kathleen (Ives) Bull and Stephen Bull who now resides in Lake Lurzene - Hadley with his wife Nancy. Stephen often talked about his life as a child playing catch with his dad, his motorcycle racing and camping with his family. He moved to the Glens Falls and Lake George area later in life where he worked at Yankee Marina on boats and was on the lake with his son Nick and dog Rio. Nick now resides in Hudson falls NY with his fiancée Heather. Stephen moved to the Utica area in 2009 where he did construction and met some great friends who stood by his side till the end, Ed Ozark, Stan Plazak, Byron Elias and Rich Bause. Thank you. The last 11 years were great memories. Stephen was a great friend to me and my family and went out of his way for many. He was known as a father-figure and Papa Steve to Shelby and Anthony of Oneida; Ann of Deansboro; eight grandkids, Sierra, Cameron, Savannah, Natty, Dallas and Artemis of Deansboro; Chetana and Bailee of Oneida; and Klayton who predeceased him. His sisters Mellenie O’Brian and her husband of Deansboro; Susan and her family in NC also survive him.
Stephen will always be remembered by his sayings. His favorite were " Oh Snap". “Are you freaking me!” "Your gonna miss me when I am gone," and “there's no trophy at the end”. Now isn't that the truth. RIP MY FRIEND.
It was his wish that there are no services. Arrangements by Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, Hamilton NY. www.burgessandtedescofuneralhomes.com
