Katrine M. Millar

Katrine M. Millar, 75, of New Albany, Kansas passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2021 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Katrine May Millar was born July 14, 1946 in New Albany, Kansas, the daughter of William C. Fuller Millar and Eva Mae (Harris) Millar. Katrine attended New Albany and Fredonia High Schools. Katrine worked at Butts School as a custodian and Fredonia Regional Hospital for many years. Katrine was a member of New Albany Methodist Church, where she often played piano. Katrine enjoyed watching birds and animals, shopping, coming to town to go to Tri-Mee for a hamburger and ice cream, her dog, “Willie” and taking care of her yard. Katrine was a great cook and will be remembered for her divinity and cakes. Katrine is survived by her brothers, Willie Millar, New Albany, Kansas, John Millar, New Albany, Kansas and Dan Millar, Fredonia, Kansas. Katrine was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Carol Voth, Jim Millar, June Millar, Edward Millar and Rosemary Millar. Visitation will be Monday, January 17th, 2022 from 5:00-7:00pm at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 N. 7th Fredonia, Kansas. Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 18th, 2022 at 2:00pm at Jackson Cemetery, rural New Albany. Memorial donations are suggested to Fredonia Pound Pals and may be mailed or left at the funeral home.
