Shirley M. Fontaine of Greenville, NH passed away on January 4, 2022, at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH. She was born on April 10, 1955, in Vermont, the daughter of Norman and Antoinette (Bertrum) Fontaine. Shirley was raised in Greenville, NH and is a graduate of Mescenic Regional High School. She spent four years working for Burbak Companies in Wilton, NH. Shirley was a member of the American Legion Post 13 in Greenville, NH for forty years. She truly enjoyed homemaking with her significant other, Dewaine. She always loved a trip to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun casino. She will always be remembered for her spunky personality and the way she made you know you were a best friend in her eyes. Her initials, SMF, have always represented Shirley in the sense that she is “so much fun” She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Antoinette Fontaine, and her sister, Marie Fontaine. Shirley is survived by her significant other of three years, Dewaine M. Bush of Greenville, NH, her brother, Edward and Bonnie Fontaine of Greenville, NH, her God daughter, Brandi Stimans of Greenville, NH and her niece, Deborah, nephews; Todd and Jeremy, and friends; Mark and Linda.
