William A. Cook Obituary

William A. Cook, 95, of White Hall, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2022.

He was born July 6, 1926, in Lonoke, Arkansas, to M. L. and Annie Potts Cook.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II.

He retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal where he cleaned white phosphorus tanks and was a member of First Baptist Church of White Hall.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Norton Cook; his parents; a grandson, Kye Stewart; brothers, John, James “June bug”, Guy “Bo”, Jack; sisters, Lois Miller, Dorothy Tucker, Hazel Anderson and a son-in-law, Gene Stewart.  

Survivors include daughters, Rita Taylor of Bryant, Patsy Stewart of the Hardin Community; a son, Ronnie (Diana) Cook of Webb City Missouri; grandchildren, Chris (Krisina) Whitcomb, Bruce (Vikki) Whitcomb, Julie (Derrick) Cox, Heather (Dave) Shaffer, Chad (Jeannie) Cook, Kenny (Sara) Stewart, Kevin (Julie) Stewart, Ashley Stewart; fourteen great-grandchildren and brothers, Don Cook.

Visitation will be Friday, 10 to 11 am at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel.

Graveside service will be Friday, January 14, 2022, 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Jim Monroe officiating.
