Mabel Ann Bechtold Obituary

Mabel Ann Bechtold, youngest daughter of William John Corbett and Anna McGreevey Corbett, was born on October 4, 1922 in Leadville, Colorado and passed away peacefully on January 9, 2022. She met and married the love of her life, Hugh Bechtold, and they had one son, Don. Both Hugh and Don predeceased Mabel. Mabel attended schools in Colorado and California before moving to Washington with her husband who was in the Navy. In California she worked for Lockheed, which she loved. In Washington she was the personnel director for Providence Hospital. She had a very deep faith and was an active member of St. Thomas More Parish, where she had many close friends. Mabel was a wonderful storyteller and her family and friends loved hearing her tell about her many experiences as she grew up. Special thanks goes to Providence Hospice and the very special people at Emerald Hills Adult Family Home in Edmonds, where she lived the last five years. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 23rd at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Lynnwood at 11:00 AM.
