<p>Edward Rockne Hurley, went to heaven on 1/11/22 to join his loving wife Shirley who were married for over 50 years and his son Rocky. “Rocky” was born in Lowell, MA September 1, 1933 to John “Jack” and Florence E. (Gendreau) Hurley.</p><p><br></p><p>Rocky was educated in the Lowell School system and worked at Raytheon, Bedford, MA for over 30 years before his retirement. Rocky was an avid motorcycle rider and along with his son and many friends. He traveled to racetracks across country and NH Bike Week for over 50 years. He enjoyed playing pool, golf and camping with his wife for many years. </p><p><br></p><p>A true family man, he was loved and will be missed deeply by his four daughters, Judy A. Hurley-Boileau and husband Phil, Maureen M. Hurley-Coulter, Barbara L. Hurley-D’Ambroise, son in-law Joe D’Ambroise, Joann M. Hurley-Pickard and husband Robert. Six loving grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. A Sister Jackie Baldwin and a brother Thomas Hurley. Many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>Rocky was predeceased by his wife Shirley D. Hurley and his son Edward “Rocky” Hurley II.</p><p><br></p><p>Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 14th from 10am to 11:30am at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. A brief prayer service will follow the visitation at 11:30am. Interment will follow in Westlawn II Cemetery, LOWELL.</p>
