Linda was born on March 16, 1963, in Alexandria, Minnesota the daughter of Roy and Joyce (Albee) Eblen.  Her childhood was spent in Alexandria, Wood Lake, Sebeka and Motley.  Linda graduated from Motley High School in 1981. 

After graduation Linda moved back to the Alexandria area where she met and married Bill Trousil on May 17, 1985 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Reno Township.  The couple made their home and farmed on Bill’s mom, Deanne’s family farm.  The couple was blessed with two children: Bradley born on April 7, 1987 and Cassandra born on August 16, 1990. 

After the kids left home Linda worked at Trumm Drug and recently was working at Menards and Minnewaska School as lunch aide.  Linda and Bill in their younger years enjoyed playing softball and volleyball together.  She also liked playing cards whether it was bar poker or Texas Hold’em.  She found her greatest joy in her two little granddaughters and was so looking forward to spoiling the third one on the way in a month.  

Linda died on Monday, January 10, 2022.  She is survived by her two children: Brad (Samantha), Cassie (Mike) Meland; granddaughters: Calley, Emily and one on the way; mom, Joyce Eblen; sisters: Nancy Eblen, Wendy (Denny) Holub, Kathy (Todd) Corner, Carol (significant other, Russ Sather) Eblen;   significant other, Ray Vetsch; step daughter, Mandi Barrett; step grandchildren: Mariah, Gavin & Connor;  several other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; dad, Roy.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022, 3:00 – 6:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 3:00 PM.  Visitation will continue on Monday, January 17, 2022, 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.  Burial at Independent Bohemian Cemetery.    Service will be live streamed for those unable to attend
