It is with heavy hearts that our family wishes to announce the passing of Ronald Vincent Oulette.

Ronnie was born on February 3, 1948 in Flin Flon, Manitoba to James and Bertha Johnson (nee Oulette) and was raised by his grandparents Dave and Esther Oulette (nee Cadotte). He attended school in Channing and then Hapnot Collegiate until grade 10. He then went on to work at Midwest Drilling, HBM&S, various hotel jobs, The City of Flin Flon, and The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 73, where he was an active member.

It was while working in Churchill, MB. At the Churchill Hotel where he met Olga (nee Homimchuk) in 1970. They were married on October 7, 1972 in Flin Flon, MB. They then returned to Stonewall, MB. Where they had their two children, Ronalda, (born in 1973) and Randy (born in 1975). Soon after they moved back to Flin Flon where they raised their family.

Ronnie loved his hockey (Montreal Canadians and the Bombers), playing pool, cards, and his bingo. He was a hard working, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to so many. He was very proud of his family and will be dearly missed and forever remembered for his sense of humour, laugh, and devotion to everyone he loved.

Ronnie is predeceased by his grandparents Dave (Feb. 1988) and Esther (March 1983) Oulette, his parents James and Bertha Johnson (Nov. 1950), his brother Leonard (Woody) Oulette (Sept. 2021), as well as four aunts, three uncles, nephews and cousins.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Olga, his children Ronalda and Randy. His grandchildren Raelynn, Serenity & Huxley. His dog Yaggie. His brother Vern (Melody), his sister Arlene (Richard), his brother in laws, Peter (Ruth), John, Nick (Jolie) and sister in laws, Sylvia (Ray), Maryanne (Glenn), and Helen. Two uncles, Gordon and Jimmy and one aunt Yvonne. As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
