Peggy Sue Sotak, 75, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was born on September 14, 1946 in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of Dole and Christeena Williams. She graduated from Huei Township High School, Class of ’66. On August 21, 1998, she married John Sotak. Peggy was a talkative, outgoing spirit and loved getting to know everyone she met. Her name was well-known among all the clerks in the stores she visited. She loved any local yard sales. She was the caretaker for her family and would show her roots by making southern food for Sunday dinners. She was a hard and loyal worker having worked for La Havana from the time the restaurant opened until the time it closed. She is survived by her husband John; her children, Mike (Cathy) Moncrief, Becky (Ron) Pronger, Tim (Lisa) Moncrief, Christy Moncrief, Lisa (Ryan) Caldwell, Sam Moncrief, Justin Moncrief; her grandchildren, Andrea, Emma, Amelia, Landry, Rook, Austin, Parish, Britney, Ashley, Nathan, Nancy, Shannon, Katie, Hunter, Kaden (“the apple of her eye”), Daniel, Mackenzie, Olivia, Tyler, Aiden, Cooper, Ellie; her 5 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Linda (Larry) McCluskey, Thelma (John) Devenyns.
