Kevin Edward Harrington, age 54, of Howell passed away on the morning of January 7, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. Kevin was born on Monday, April 10, 1967 in Howell, Michigan and spent the majority of his life in Howell, attending M.A.M.S. and Howell High School, he was in the class of 1985, and he maintained many lifelong friends from school. In 1986, Kevin met the love of his life, Amy (Sekulich), while she was in her first year at Michigan State University. They fell in love and were married on May 31, 1991 in Hartland, MI. He lived his life with an infectious smile and as a loyal husband and loving father. Kevin worked hard all his life to serve others and was always the first to volunteer to help someone in need. He began working at UPS in 2010 and was affectionately known as the “Chelsea Cowboy”, due to his choice of UPS Hat when making his deliveries. In addition, as the selfless person he was, he created the “Kevin Harrington Driver Foundation” dedicated to helping his fellow UPS workers. When Kevin was not working, he loved spending time with his family and being up North in the upper peninsula, in Gladstone. Kevin was an avid sports fan. His treasure was his family, and his legacy will live on. Kevin is the loving husband of Amy. The cherished father of Abby and Bailey. Most loved brother of Tammy Gibbons, Marsha (Dave) Schlegel, Darci (Scott) Ziemba, Chad (Danielle) Harrington, and Leah (Nick) Sisco. Kevin’s family will receive friends on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Home, MacDonald Chapel. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 4:00 PM with Reverend Tom Huff officiating. Additional visitation will take place Friday from 3:00 PM until time of Kevin’s celebration of life. Those wishing to contribute to Kevin’s memory may direct the gift to his family.
