Elizabeth Ann May Hollingshead, 45, beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 6, 2022.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 11:00am at Green Hills Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.  Burial will be at Rocky Mount Cemetery with Hunter Wesson, Joel Vigil, Rush Hixon, Shannon Tew, Rob Hollingshead, and Kelly Culver serving as pallbearers.  John Andrews and Colt Wesson will be honorary pallbearers.  Rev. Joe Leverette officiating.

One of the most giving people you would ever meet, Beth made an impact wherever she went.  Her pet rabbit, Thumpee, was one of her favorite animals and she would prepare food just for him.  An avid Auburn fan, she enjoyed cheering for her team.  Her children always knew Mom was in the stands because her voice rang out in the crowd.  She was such a caring person, and her laugh will be missed by all, especially her coworkers at Sikes & Kohn’s Country Mall.  

Beth was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emmett & Mary Frances Ingram and Clyde & Mattie L. May.  Loving survivors include her husband of 25 years, Jay Hollingshead; her children, Haylee (fiancée, Joel Vigil), Holden, and Hudson; her parents, Michael & Jackie May; her sisters, April Wesson (Travis), Lacy Andrews (John); her mother-in-law, Linda C.Hollingshead; her father-in-law, Jerry Hollingshead (Karen); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

The family would like to thank the 6th Floor SICU at Baptist South for their loving care of Beth and their compassion for her family.
