Vicky L. Porter, age 77, of Caddo Gap, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She was born on September 4, 1944, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Lowell Story and Margaret Williams Story. On August 4, 1963, she was married to the love of her life, Charles Wilson “Temp” Porter, who preceded her in death on October 26, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles Wayne Porter; her grandson, Logan Porter; her parents; one brother, Ron Story; and two sisters, Patty Story and Barbara Jensen. She loved reading, watching her Hallmark channel, sewing, crocheting and canning, and in her younger years she enjoyed going fishing. Vicky loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her two daughters and one son-in-law, Norma and William Kirkpatrick of Hopper and Shelley Bailey of Kirby; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Cindy Porter of Arkadelphia; her grandchildren, Bambi and Will McRae, Charles Terry, Michael Green, Shannon Bailey, Nathaniel Porter, Joey Porter, Shaylene Cooley and Sarita Porter; her great-grandchildren, Rebecca Terry, Ryan Terry, Keira McRae, Maliah McRae, Issiah Cooley, Alana Cooley, Charley Porter and one on the way, Brady Boyd; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
