Larry Wayne Badders Obituary

Larry Wayne Badders, 60, of Patterson, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born in St. Louis, MO, August 11, 1961, to parents Max Badders and Loretta (Everhart) Keck.  

Larry was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was raised around the Jefferson County area. Larry was a very smart, wonderful person and of non-denominational faith. He was an avid painter and musician. During his working career, Larry worked in management positions. He was production manager at Highland packaging company, parts manager at Dowell Oil Company in Grand Junction, CO, and operations manager for Dan-D-Lines, Inc. Larry enjoyed boating, riding motorcycles, and dirt bikes. He was very kind to other people. Larry loved his dog, Dudley, who passed one week before Larry.  

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby and William Shaw.  

Larry is survived by his mother and stepfather, Dan Keck; stepmother: Willa Dean Badders of Woodstock, GA; sons: Max Badders of Patterson, Tony Badders and wife Kate of Cedar Hill; grandchildren: Zachary Badders, Xander Badders, and Cora Badders; half-brother: Tom Ingle and wife Larayne of Los Angeles, CA; sisters: Jeanette Stanfill of Patterson; half-sister: Kellie Butte of Flowery Branch, GA; stepsister: Kim Claar of Woodstock, GA, Kris Everett of Woodstock, GA, ; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Larry will be greatly missed.

Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 1:00 pm, also in the chapel. Pastor Michael Warren ministered to the family. Music was provided by Jeanette Stanfill, Sondra Linton, and Shawna Culotta. Jeanette Stanfill, Dalton Lamb, Bill Bazzell, Ron Rau, Tom Wilke, Jr. Baker, and Michael Everhart served as pallbearers. Burial was in New Prospect Cemetery.
