Therese G. (Martin) Deshaies Noury of Pascoag, formerly of Woonsocket, died Dec. 25, 2021, at Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care, Providence She was the loving wife of the late Royal E. Deshaies and the late Raymond A. Noury. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Herve and Graziella (Bilodeau) Martin. She married Royal E. Deshaies in 1948 and together they raised one child. Royal passed away on Jan. 25,1978. She married Raymond A. Noury in 1986 until Raymond passed away on Dec. 20, 2013. Therese worked at many textile factories in her youth and later worked and retired from the State of R.I. School lunch program at Woonsocket High School and Junior High School. She had a passion for art and painting. Therese took pride for being named after St. Therese of Liseux, Therese Martin, which is the name of the Parish she belonged to in Nasonville. Therese is survived by her daughter, Denise Ethier and her husband David of Pascoag; grand-children Paul X. Ethier (Amanda) of Glen Ellyn, Ilinois and Stephen Ethier of Pascoag. She is also survived by her sister, Margueritte Carrier of Franklin, MA. In addition, she is survived by her step-children: Paul Noury (Pauline), Michael Noury (Robin), Robert Noury (Pam), Rachel Noury, Denise Arrighi (Paul) and Cheryl Noury. She was predeceased by her siblings Philias Martin, Leo Martin, Lucien Martin, Herve Martin and Lucille Martin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Theresa’s Church, 35 Dion Drive, Nasonville, at 10 AM on Monday, January 10, 2022. Guests will be greeted by the family prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA. A collation will be announced at a future date. Arrangements are under the direction of Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag.
