Arlene Deloris Selk
Arlene D. (Matz) Selk, 95, entered eternal rest on December 30, 2021 in Denver, CO. She lived in SD and IA for her first 20+ years and married Vernon (Whitey) Selk in IA in 1945. They also lived in CA and MN before moving to Aurora, CO in 1969. Whitey passed away in 1977. She was very active and loved bowling, golfing, and walking her dog. She was an active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Aurora until she entered assisted living. She is survived by her five children: DeAnna Mooney (John), Bruce Selk (Sandi), Trudy Wiseman (Rob), Candace Barnes (Mark) and Brian Selk (Kelly) along with 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. A family service will be held in the spring. In her memory, donations may be sent to: Gateway Domestic Violence Services, PO Box 914, Aurora, CO 80040.December 30, 202112/30/2021
