      The Lord took Lois's hand and led her home on January 1st, 2022 under the care of New Life Hospice while a resident of Avon Oaks. Lois, 93, was born and raised in Lorain and graduated from Lorain High School, class of 1946B. She was involved in the Y-High Girls Club. Their motto was "BLFT" Better Living For Teenagers. While in high school she worked at Fisher's grocery store. After high school she met Dale and fell in love. Dale served 18 months in the U.S. Army, upon returning from Germany, Lois and Dale married on January 29th, 1949 at St. John's E&R Church in Lorain, Ohio.
     Lois worked for the Lorain Telephone Company as a long-distance switchboard operator until leaving to become a homemaker and mother to her four children. She was a long time member of the Lakeland Woman's Club. volunteered at the Salvation Army and enjoyed the Cotilian Dance Club, dancing many nights away with Dale.
     She was a lifelong member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Lorain, was active in Sunday School, the church choir, various groups and teaching the children.
     She was an excellent baker and was famous for her Hungarian nut and poppy seed rolls, her fudge was mouth watering too.
     Lois loved going to garage sales (and having them) and antiquing. She had the unique skill of giving new life to old pieces for furniture that she would sell on the front lawn at our home on 28th Street and the items would stop traffic.
     Lois was born the 5th child of 7 to parents Steve and Mary Molnar. Lois was the last living member of her family.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, who she was married to for 62 years in 2011, son Mark in 2012, brothers, Steve and Robert Molnar, sisters, Margaret Lachman, Betty Hughes, Clara Zvosec and Rosemary Papp.
     Surviving Lois are her three children, Lynette (David) Rogers, Scott (Susan) Meredith, Nancy (Rick) Svat. Her five grandchildren, Kimberly (Greg) Grundey, Kevin (Jackie) Meredith, Negan (Mike) Rosey, Katie (Mike) Varn and Morgan Meredith. Four great-grandchildren, Liam Rosey, Evelyn and Everett Grundey, Logan Varn and one great grand-daughter on the way.
     She also has 2 step granddaughters, 4 step great grandchildren and 3 step great great granddaughters. 
     The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 6th, 2022 at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with closing prayers at 11:00 A.M.
     Burial will be private.  
     Funeral arrangements are being handled by Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 West 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio.
