Sharon Kaye Bailey, 67, of Weston passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston. She was born on November 17, 1954 in Weston, daughter of the late Glenn Walters Ables and Earnestine (Heater) Ables. Sharon was united in marriage on March 18, 1978 to John R. Bailey, who survives. Forever cherishing the life of Sharon are her husband John, 4 children: Johnnie Bailey of Weston, Robbie Bailey (Haley) of Weston, Kim Bailey of Weston, and Phillip Bailey (Shelby) of Weston, 5 grandchildren: Lucian Bailey, Ava Bailey, Jackson Yow, Addalynn Friend, and Maddalynn Friend, 5 brothers: Mike Ables (Brenda) of Weston, Jerry Ables of Weston, Dave Ables (Linda) of Weston, Glenn Junior Ables of Weston, and Jack Ables (Darlene) of Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by 2 sisters in law: Barbra Ables and Linda Ables, and 1 nephew: Jerry Lynn Ables. Sharon really treasured taking care of her family. She attended the Murphy Creek Baptist Church. Sharon enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers, and also cooking. Above all, Sharon cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 11AM-1PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 1PM from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Wease Day officiating.
