Jeralee Frandsen Obituary

Jeralee Frandsen
Manti, UT
On 29 December 2021, Jeralee Frandsen passed away peacefully in her home. She was 80 years of age.
Jeralee and her twin sister Dixie were born on February 12, 1941, in Ephraim, Utah. They were the youngest of 4 children born to Vincent and Ruth Pickett Ross. She graduated from Manti High School in 1959 and took many college courses. She was a lifelong learner.
Jeralee had two children, Kevin, and Lori from her first marriage. She then married Roland Frandsen on September 11, 1963, in the Manti Utah Temple. Jeralee and Roland met in 8th grade and were married soon after he returned home from his mission. Roland adopted her two children, and they added four more children - David, Diane, Mark, and Marie - to complete their family. They lived in Murray, Gunnison, and Cedar City, Utah, and Phoenix, Arizona.
In 1971 the family moved to Yuma, Arizona. While there, they opened their own successful water treatment business. Jeralee attended several classes at Arizona Western College to learn the skills she needed to help run their business, including learning how to use a computer when they were first becoming available in the early 1980’s; she really enjoyed her work.
Before retiring in 2006, Jeralee and Roland made a trip to Manti with their youngest daughter to help her find a house. While on this trip, they walked into what would become their home, and both had a strong feeling that that was where they were supposed to live. It hadn’t been their plan, but everything fell into place for them to move there. They were both very happy living in Manti.
Jeralee and Roland both loved working in the Manti temple. They loved the city, and the people living there. While there, they had several of their children and grandchildren come and live with them and enjoyed their time with them all so much. Jeralee loved to crochet and created beautiful blankets and hats for her family and for donations to charity. She loved to play the piano. She always loved being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and would share her testimony often with friends and family.
Jeralee was the perfect example of unconditional love. She was kind to everyone and was never one to gossip or speak ill of anyone. She loved her family and would often begin each phone call or conversation by asking about every individual in the family and how they were doing. She had started having memory issues, but to her it didn’t matter what she forgot, as long as she did not forget her family. She was greatly loved, and she will be missed.
Jeralee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland King Frandsen (2019), her oldest son Kevin Eugene Frandsen (1979), her father, Vincent Kindley Ross (1971), and her mother Ruth Arzella Pickett Ross (2000).
She is survived by her 5 remaining children, Lori (Larry) Layton, Chandler, Arizona; David (Jennifer) Frandsen, Yuma, Arizona; Diane (Randy) Larson, Manti, Utah; Mark (Veronica) Frandsen, Yuma, Arizona; and Marie (James) Frandsen-Tilson of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, and her three siblings, Hal (Joann) Ross, Mt Pleasant, Utah; Reginald Ross, Ephraim, Utah; and twin sister Dixie (Gary) Rosier of West Jordan, Utah; 20 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Cremation services have taken place and a memorial service for Jeralee is scheduled for Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Manti 3rd Ward Chapel, 555 E Union St, Manti, Utah 84642
