Terry Franklin Ely
<p>Terry Franklin Ely passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 76. Terry was born April 13, 1945 to the late Edward and Anna (Gaa) Ely. He grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He loved the beauty of West Virginia, and was residing in Princeton, WV at the time of his passing.</p> <p>Terry always enjoyed sharing stories about his life, and he had a great sense of humor. Above all, he was known for his kind and giving nature, and his love of family. </p> <p>He is preceded in death by his father and mother, his two brothers Allen Edward Ely and</p> <p>James Earl Ely, his daughter Crystal Eaton, and grandchildren Michael Huff, Michael Lee Goings, Savannah Ann Goings (11/14/98), and Lili-Rose Ely. </p> <p>He is survived by his children, Lisa (Wes) Huff, Lorri (Jonathan) Ely, Jennifer (Rob) Tower, Angela Ely, and Allen Ely; his grandchildren, Tabitha Leanne Hylton, Piper Anne Earnest, Joshua Andrew Hook, Carl Edward Parrott II, Kira Mae Parrott, Ryland Ely, Leiland Ely, Gabriel Ely, Abigail Ely, Manny Ely, Beatrice Ely, Eleanor Ely, Nathan Roseberry, Ethan Roseberry, Dima Tower, Anna Huff, Joshua Huff; and great-granddaughter, Ember Huff. He is also survived by his brother Allen Edward Ely’s children, Mark (Connie) Ely, Clark (Gloria) Ely, Rebecca Ely, Connie Tucker, and Gail (Eric) Stevens; and his brother Jim Ely’s children, Jeffrey (Jeanette) Ely, Scott (Kathy) Ely, Victor (Susan) Ely, Timothy (Tonya) Ely, Sandy (Len) Stayton; and Larry Paul and companion Angela, April (Bobby) Bryant, Claude Perry, and nieces Bobby Jo Lester and Jessica Minix.</p> <p>He will be fondly remembered by his many friends, including Shawn Blizzard, Sharron Farmer, Charlotte Saylor, Sharon Snow, Carla Hartley, Brenda Burgett, and many others. He loved spending time with friends, and each of you touched his life.</p> <p>A Celebration of Life will be held on January 14, 2022 at New Faith Church, 6700 Thrush Drive, Canal Winchester, Oh 43110. Visitation with the family from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M.
