Local plumbing contractor, Kenneth F. Lucey, died from complications of COVID on December 23, 2021, in the hospital in Franklin, VA. Survived by his wife, Deborah Lucey; children, Kenneth Patrick Lucey (Margaret), Jennifer Denise Hale (Brian), and Donald Ryan Lucey (Amber); sister, Donna J. Freeman (Jeff); grandchildren, Jordan, Julian, Alexis Cooper, Hunter Lucey, Cora Scott, Grace, Lauren, Christian, and Justin Hale; niece, Tammy Lucey Herald; brother-in-law, James Brewer; aunts, Sharon McCoy and Jean Warden; as well as other nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, John D. and Betty Lucey; brother, John Thomas Lucey; and nephew, Thomas David Lucey.
