Robert Lane Cain, 19, of Reed Point passed away Wednesday December 15 in Billings. Lane was born April 2nd, 2002 in Jacksonville, FL. to Adam Cain and Victoria Johnson Cain. He lived his younger years in both FL and MT until moving to FL with his mom at the age of six before returning to MT to live with his dad when he was 12. Loyalty over everything was the way Lane chose to live life. Lane was a passionate fisherman whether it be with his Dad, either of his Grampa’s or by himself the fish were never safe. He enjoyed playing football in school and hanging with his friends, there were no strangers in Lane’s life only friends he hadn’t met yet. He always lent a helping hand when possible. Lane loved all colors of roses but especially red ones this was evident in his clothing and other purchases of things with roses on them. Lane is survived by his parents, Adam Cain, Reed Point MT and Victoria Johnson Frazier, Jacksonville FL. His grandparents Bruce and Marian Cain, Reed Point, MT; Bob and Bobbie Johnson, Tallahassee, FL. Five brothers: Nathan Cain, Tristen Prescott Cain both of Reed Point, MT., Brayden Johnson, Tallahassee, FL. Tye Dolan, Big Timber, MT. Talyen Dolan, Glendive, MT. Uncles and Aunts: Brannon (Anna Phipps) Cain, Reed Point, MT; Gwen (Mike) Simmons, Livingston MT; Cody Johnson, Tallahassee, FL. Cousins: Gabby and Mason Cain; Josh and Maddy Simmons; Levon, Luke, Logan Johnson. He was preceded in death by his cousin Hunter Simmons. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his life will be held 2pm Sunday January 2, 2022 at the Reed Point Evangelical Church.
