Robin L. Brown York, Pennsylvania Obituary

Robin L. Brown

“Good morning kingdom citizens. Good morning glory carriers. Good morning atmosphere changers!” Prophetess Robin L. Brown Robin Lavern Brown ministered the Gospel of Jesus Christ until her last breath on December 22, 2021. Robin was born December 2, 1966, at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia to Ethelyn Brown and George Hamilton. She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. Robin attended E.M. Stanton Elementary, and N.S. Barrett Junior High. In junior high Robin was called “the professor” because she was smart and loved to write, she also loved riding her bike all over the city. Robin was fun and she loved people. Robin later attended Ben Franklin High School and Southern, before transferring and graduating from Kennett High School in 1984 after going to live with her brother, Tracy. Robin’s talent with people would lead her into the business world after receiving technical training at Jefferson Business School. She worked as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, and Office Manager in a variety of positions for more than twenty years. She retired from Veolia Energy due to her illness. Robin’s life had ups and downs, but she was resilient and lived life to the fullest. Through all her challenges, Robin was always loving, giving, and grateful. Robin lived a modest life and was always willing to share what she had with those in need. Robin had a unique way of having all the “tea”. She made sure everyone had the latest information concerning the family and friends that stemmed from a place of love. Robin was a woman of prayer. Ministry was Robin’s mission in life. Robin accepted Christ at an early age and rededicated her life in 1996 at Revival Church of Love and Deliverance under the leadership of Apostle Jeannette Gilbert. Robin had a heart to share the Gospel and an action driven desire to help others in need. Robin served as church secretary, administrative assistance to the pastor, sung on the praise and worship team, and former leader of the praise dance ministry. Robin was the founder of Love to Life Ministry, Birthing God’s Purpose Prayer Ministry, and she hosted the Love to Life Talk Show on Facebook. Robin’s latest project during COIVD-19 pandemic was to provide clothing and personal care supplies to orphans in Africa. Posthumous, her assignment was completed with more than one thousand items provided to help orphans in Nigeria. Her love of fashion jewelry and desire to help women, especially single mothers, was the impetus to make a substantial donation to local women’s shelters helping low-income women reenter the workforce. Often, Robin invited family and friends to attend women’s conferences, and prayer conferences she hosted, or her preaching engagements. Robin strived to give her sons, Pastor Anthony Dominic Brown (Valdijah) and Christopher Joseph Brown, the best she had to offer, her love of Christ. Robin leaves to celebrate her life her grandchildren Bella Watson, Aubree Anthonie Brown, Sahiyya Nichele Brown, and Christopher Jav’ier Brown; brothers, David L. Cole, Jr. and Rev. Dr. Tracy Brown (Barb); nephews, Anthony Carver, David “Skipper” Cole III, Ryan Brown, and Terry “TJ” Sneed, Jr.; nieces, Janice Gallagher, Tracy Harmon, and Kaneesha Brown and a host of great nieces, great nephews, family, and friends.
