Louise P. Mele Obituary

Louise P. Mele, 88, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 23rd, with her loving husband Anthony “Bronco” Mele by her side.  Born in Nesquehoning, she was a daughter of the late John and Ann (Pancoe) Sniscak.  She was a Medical Technician, working for the former Coaldale State General Hospital for many years before retiring.  She was a member of ST. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley Roman Catholic Church in Summit Hill and was a longtime former member of the Nesquehoning V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.  Louise enjoyed traveling with her husband, was an avid Eagles fan and loved her two granddaughters dearly. 

Surviving in addition to her husband are sisters Elizabeth McFadden of Nesquehoning  and Rose Walck and husband Tony, also of Nesquehoning and Granddaughters Samantha and Nicole Gill.  She was pre-deceased by a daughter Lou Ann Gill and brothers Joseph Sniscak, John Sniscak and Michael Sniscak.
