Janelle Hill Sharp a loving Wife, mother, grandmother and sister, age 67, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015. Janelle was born in Haywood County on March 18, 1948 to the late Edwin and Carrie Mae Hill and preceeded in death by her sisters Kathleen Hill and Eddie Herbert and one brother David Hill. Janelle is survived by her loving husband of 32 years; Roy Garnes Sharp, one son, Steve Messer and his wife Michelle of Waynesville, two sisters, Helen Haynes and her husband Jack of Clyde and Lou Ann Evans and her husband Charlie of Waynesville, two brothers, Johnnie Hill and his wife Mary of Canton and Walker Hill of Weaverville, one granddaughter, Emily Cable and her husband Roger, a grandson Adam Messer and a great-granddaughter, Addison Cable all of Waynesville along with several nieces and nephews. Janelle was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church of Upper Crabtree, she enjoyed reading, playing cards, collecting baskets and hunting, and loved all animals, fast cars and trucks. She cherished her family and her family cherished her. She will be dearly missed. Private services were held 4:00pm, Friday, December 11, 2015 at Smoky Mountain Chapel.
