<p>Whitinsville- Louise M. (Gabert) Booher, 94, passed away at home peacefully on Thursday, December 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Harry D. Booher in 1996.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She is survived&nbsp;by 5 children Frank Booher of Douglas, Kenneth Booher of Milford, Rickey Booher of Whitinsville, Raymond Booher and his wife Donna of Bakersville, CA, and Debra L. Demers and her husband Jim of Uxbridge; 6&nbsp;grandchildren, Katie Demers of&nbsp;Uxbridge, Nicole Demers of Douglas, Joseph Booher of&nbsp;Douglas, Jason Booher of FL, Megan Booher of CA, and Sarah Booher of CA;&nbsp;a new great-granddaughter, Melanie, whom lit up her life; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 11 siblings.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Born in Shirleysburg, PA on Aug. 27, 1927 she was the daughter of Samuel and Ruth (Homand) Gabert and was raised in PA and moved to Whitinsville in 1963. She also lived in Douglas several years before moving to Whitinsville in 1963.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Louise worked for the former General Electric/ Telechron in Ashland for many years. She then worked as a Nurse&rsquo;s Aide for Whitinsville and Milford Hospitals, and Knowlton Manor in Upton. She enjoyed quilting, making drapery, visiting the Northbridge Senior Center, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a kind woman with a big heart who absolutely adored her family.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;Her funeral service will be held from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville on Tues. Dec. 28th.&nbsp;at 11 AM. Calling hours will be held prior from 9-11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary&rsquo;s Cemetery, Uxbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise&rsquo;s memory may be made to: The Northbridge Senior Center, 20 Highland St., Whitinsville, MA 01588, Dog Orphans Inc., PO Box 767, Douglas MA 01516, or an animal shelter of one&rsquo;s choice, or to the charity of one&rsquo;s choice.         She is survived by 5 children Frank Booher of Douglas, Kenneth Booher of Milford, Rickey Booher of Whitinsville, Raymond Booher and his wife Donna of Bakersville, CA, and Debra L.
