John Edward McAllister

Entered into rest peacefully in his sleep at the Brockville General Hospital. John Edward McAllister of Brockville age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Angele (Legere) McAllister. Loving father of Mary Anne McAllister, Christine Albert, Glenn McAllister (Jackie) and Susan Simpson (Michael). Cherished grandfather of David Albert (Dana) and Alison Albert, Nicholas and Tyler (Tikvah) Simpson and Adam McAllister. Edward is survived by his sister Karen Bulmer and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Inez (Roulston) McAllister, a son-in-law David Albert, his brother William McAllister, sisters Joyce Keyes and Loraine McAllister. A Private family Graveside Service will be held at Oakland Cemetery. In memory of Edward, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly acknowledged by the family.
