Joanne Oliver, 73, of Sandyston Township, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015, in the Respiratory Rehabilitation Center at Saint Clare's Hospital in Dover. Born in Newton, Mrs. Oliver lived in Hampton Township before moving to Sandyston Township 44 years ago. She attended Newton High School and graduated from Sparta High School. She was a homemaker. The daughter of the late Asa Mackerley, Jr., and Olive (nee Hardy) Mackerley, Mrs. Oliver was also predeceased by her brother, Asa Mackerley III. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William F. Oliver; three children, Nancy Dennis and husband, Jeffrey, of Wantage, Jessica Mahouchick and husband, Michael, of Vernon, and William F. Oliver, Jr., and wife, Sherry, of Stillwater; five grandchildren, Brandy Dennis, Eliza Beach-Dennis, Michael Mahouchick III, Kevin Mahouchick and Aimee Oliver; two great-grandchildren, Madison Mahouchick and Sebastian Beach; and one sister, Ethel Aumick and husband, Frank, of Franklin. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, many nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 16, at the Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main Street, Branchville. Interment will follow in Layton Cemetery in Sandyston Township. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 15, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
