ROBERT (BOB) WILLIAM LECHOW It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Bob, at the age of 64, on Sunday, December 19, 2021. He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Lori-Ann, and two children; daughter Robyn and son Evan. He also leaves behind many treasured family members, neighbours, co-workers, and friends. Bob was born on April 10, 1957 in Ontario. His family moved to Winnipeg where he spent the majority of his life in the North-End. He met the love of his life, Lori-Ann, and they married in 1982. He worked most of his career in the field of Policing and Security. His career took them to Altona, Gilbert Plains, finally re-settling with their young family in Winnipeg. Bob treasured his time socializing with family and friends. He loved listening to stories, often sharing his opinion or a good joke. The kitchen was his kingdom, he loved cooking for others. He was so proud that his chili recipe won his workplace chilli-cook off 3 years in a row. He shared his love through food. Bob’s favourite place to be was the “Magnusville” cabin. Here he enjoyed being outside, riding the lawnmower, and being surrounded by family. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any charity of choice. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and staff of 3U6 at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their compassion and care.
