Visitation for Mrs. Doris Dudley-Mitchell, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 6-7 PM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel in the Dudley Funeral Home, 617 East Jackson Street, Dublin, Georgia. Mrs. Doris Dudley-Mitchell was born on Sunday, February 9, 1941, in Dublin, to the late J.C. (Jabo) and Idearest (Fowler) Dudley. Mrs. Mitchell was a faithful and dedicated member of Jordan Grove Church of God In Christ where she served as an Usher and Sunday School Secretary. On Thursday, December 16, 2021, our savior called his beloved servant home. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Idearest Dudley, four siblings, Tyrone Dudley, Daisy Howard, J.C. Junior and Beverly Dudley, five children, Sharon Mitchell, Richard Dudley, Joann Mitchell, Dorothy Pitts, and Edward Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Ann (Charles) Mitchell of Dublin, Georgia, three sons, Curtis Dudley of Norwich, Connecticut, Nathaniel Mitchell and Sammy Mitchell of Dublin, Georgia; three sisters, Margie Dudley and Lucille (Greg) Vaughn of Dublin, Georgia, Waletha Coney of Decatur, Georgia, three brothers, Alfred (Annie Ruth) Dudley of Brockton, Massachusetts; Bobby Dudley and Terry Dudley of Dublin, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
