<p>Robert James Radford passed away peacefully at home on&nbsp;December 17, 2021, at the age of 88yrs.</p> <p>He was born&nbsp;June 14, 1933 at MacGregor Manitoba. In 1959 he bought the farm south of Sidney. In 1960 he married Joan Naismith. Together they built what would become Radford Family Charolais. He was very innovative. There wasn&rsquo;t much he couldn&rsquo;t fix or build. He enjoyed every aspect of farming: grain, cattle, horses. He took great pride in the Charolais. Dad and Mom began retiring from the work of the farm in 1998. They were still living on the farm when Dad passed away, as was his wish.</p> <p>Dad was predeceased by his son James and his granddaughter Emily. He is survived by his wife Joan, daughters Sherry and family, Lois (Cedric and Leanne), Judy (Derrick) and family, and Catherine, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.</p> <p>A private service will take place at a later date.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, donations of remembrance may be made to Central Plains Cancer Care or Diabetes Canada.</p>

Obituary

Robert James Radford passed away peacefully at home on December 17, 2021, at the age of 88yrs.

He was born June 14, 1933 at MacGregor Manitoba. In 1959 he bought the farm south of Sidney. In 1960 he married Joan Naismith. Together they built what would become Radford Family Charolais. He was very innovative. There wasn’t much he couldn’t fix or build. He enjoyed every aspect of farming: grain, cattle, horses. He took great pride in the Charolais. Dad and Mom began retiring from the work of the farm in 1998. They were still living on the farm when Dad passed away, as was his wish.

Dad was predeceased by his son James and his granddaughter Emily. He is survived by his wife Joan, daughters Sherry and family, Lois (Cedric and Leanne), Judy (Derrick) and family, and Catherine, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations of remembrance may be made to Central Plains Cancer Care or Diabetes Canada.
