Janis Marie Wickert

Janis Marie Wickert, 65 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 in  Winamac, Indiana.

She was born Sunday, February 5, 1956 in Knox, Indiana, Daughter of the late August Wickert and the late Elaine(Soberg) Wickert.

Janis was a member of Saint Lukes Community Church.  She loved holding babies, the Chicago Cubs and country music.   Janis enjoyed attending her day program and her R.E.M. program.  Janis loved to write notes to people to show she loved them.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family. 

Surviving are Brother, Garry(Margie) Wickert of San Pierre, Indiana, Brother, Larry(Marilyn) Wickert of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Brian(Patty) Wickert of Viroqua, Wisconsin, Brother, Dean(Lynn) Wickert of Harrison, Ohio, Sister, Marilyn Wallace of Rossville, Indiana, Sister, Alice(Chuck) Paulsen of North Judson, Indiana, 19 nieces and Nephews 44 great- nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents August and Elaine Wickert.

Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Monday, December 20  at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Monday, December 20, 2021 at 1 PM with  Pastor Joe Mollet officiating.

Interment will follow in the San Pierre Cemetery.
