Charles "Jim" Crook Obituary

Charles "Jim" James Crook, 83, a resident of Pasadena, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. 

Mr. Crook was born in Arbutus, MD on August 3, 1938 to the late Charles and Catherine Crook. He served Honorably in the US Airforce from 1956 to 1969. He went on to work as a Regional Manager for UPS until his retirement in 1995 after over 25 years of service. During his time working, Mr. Crook also spent his time building and designing homes. He was a member of the Republican Presidential Inner Circle, Glen Burnie VFW, Denton American Legion and Maryland Yacht Club. He was also district manager for AMWAY. He held a Captains License for intercoastal and international waterways. His hobbies  included boating, horseback riding, riding his Harley with his German Shepherds and taking trips to the Caribbean Islands. 

Mr. Crook is survived by his wife of 7 years, Janet L. Crook, son James Crook of Quinto, MD, daughters Gloria J. Carpenter of Pasadena, MD, Catherine M. Crook of Pasadena, MD, Sandra D. Clarke of Severn, MD, Cherl L. Long of West Virginia, Melissa Crook of Maryland, step daughter Jennifer Racz of Abington, MD, 14 grandchildren and 23 plus great grandchildren.
