David P. Bostwick

JANESVILLE--- David P. Bostwick, age 79, of Janesville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Manor, Footville. He was born in Janesville on Jan. 25, 1936, the son of Palen and Catherine (Schicker) Bostwick. He graduated from Milton College and became an insurance adjuster. He served in U.S. Army from 1956 to 1960. David married Sharon Adams in 1964, and later married Lynnette McCarthy in 2002. Lynnette preceded him in death on May 29, 2008. He had been employed by Kohl's Grocery Store and as an Insurance Agent for Wausau Insurance Company. He was a member of Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. David is survived by his 2 children, Kathy Russow of Wauwatosa and Anastasia (Brian) Anderson of Penrith, Australia; 3 grandchildren: Alexandria, Christopher, and Charlotte; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lynette McCarthy Bostwick; and sister, Mary Shea. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, 307 E. Wall St., Janesville with Rev. Rob Butz officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. the church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
