Alex Dean Christensen, a resident of Twin Falls, ID passed away peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the age of 28. Alex was born on August 9, 1993 in Downers Grove, IL to Rex and Mary D. Donnelly Christensen. He grew up in Naperville, IL and Mason, OH. Following graduation from William Mason High School, he attended the University of Dayton where he was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. Alex graduated with a degree in Finance. He was a lifelong basketball fan, playing from first grade through High School on school and club teams. Additionally, he participated in ski club and ran track. He enjoyed the annual pheasant hunting trip with uncles and cousins on the family farm in South Dakota. He also loved fly fishing in the Wood River Valley of Idaho and the Sun Valley Road Rally. He worked in the accounting departments of packaging and dairy processing companies over the past several years. Alex had a kind heart and loved animals, especially his Australian Shepherd named, Finn. He is survived by his parents, Rex and Mary of Twin Falls, a sister, Rachel from Chicago, IL; his grandmother, Darlene Christensen of Mitchell, SD, aunts and uncles, Dawn and Gary Glover, Hans and Trish Christensen, and uncle, Glen Christensen. A private service and burial will be held in Elk Point on Friday December 17, 2021. Kober Funeral Home has been entrusted with the service.
