CUYAHOGA FALLS - Lawrence "Larry" McCormick, 81, passed away December 13, 2021. He was born June 8, 1940 in Akron to the late Carl and Inez McCormick. Larry was a lifelong Cuyahoga Falls resident serving the Cuyahoga Falls community as a police officer from 1964-1993. He was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls F.O.P. Lodge #49. He loved golfing and spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his wife, Judith A.; sisters, JoAnn Albers and Bonnie Colby; he is survived by his children, Angela (Michael) Hawsman and Russell (Sherry) McCormick; grandchildren, Meghan (Aaron) Weakley, Michael (Brittany) Hawsman, Kayleigh (Matthew) Puente and Kari (Haylie) McCormick; greatgrandchildren, Charlotte, Calvin, Maverick and Brooklynn and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call from 5-7 PM on Thursday December 16, 2021 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Friday December 17 at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Cuyahoga Falls Cancer Club.
