Passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 of Potomac, MD, following a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of Michele Launais; devoted father of Denise Launais Taff (husband, Roy), Danielle Launais Harvey (husband, Nicolas) and the late Nancye Anne Launais; cherished grandfather of Taylor, Jacqueline, Sabine, Elodie and Madeleine. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancye Fogarty Launais. Family will receive friends at PUMPRHEY’S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Montgomery Ave, Rockville, MD on Thursday, December 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, 1513 Dunster Road, Rockville, MD on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
