Mrs. Frances Lucille “Lucy” Daw age 81, of Hixson, TN, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021.

Mrs. Daw was born in Laurens, SC, on March 31, 1940, the daughter of the late William Henry Dunaway and Lilly Pearl Lawson Dunaway. She loved Myrtle Beach, quilting, cooking, and fishing at Blount’s Creek. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Daw was preceded in death by two children, Donald Ray Lollis and Billy Daniel Lollis, Jr; a brother, Harold Dunaway; a brother-in-law, Virgil Bouknight; and a son-in-law, Jay Brantley.

Survivors include her husband, Ted Daw, to whom she was married on January 21, 2017; two daughters, Debra Carraway (Todd) and Lela “Denise” Brantley ; two step-daughters, Denise Estep (Dennis) and Dawn Barnes (Johnny); step-son, Dennis “Keith” Daw; siblings, Myrtle Bouknight and Dorothy “Dot” Bagwell; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:00 P.M., Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Chapel.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd.
