Vivian Lynn Pabst

Vivian Lynn Pabst, 88, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday December 9, 2021 at Country View Nursing Facility in Bowling Green. Private family services will take place at a later date. Mrs. Pabst was born May 6, 1933 in Pike County, MO, the daughter of Howard and Josephine Tippett Lynn. She married Robert Pabst on September 9, 1950 in Hannibal and he preceded her in death on December 30, 2016. Survivors include one brother, Jimmy Lynn of Columbia; one sister, Sharon (Butch) Curry of Centralia ; one son, Damon (Terrin) Pabst of Lee's Summit; one daughter, Valera Pabst-Bostic (John Bositc, Sr.) of Vandalia; five grandchildren, Josiah (Abigail) Pabst of Brooklyn, NY, Lindsy (Mark) Alexander of Lee's Summit, Robert Gage Pabst of Oklahoma City, OK, Kelsy Fowler of Vandalia, and Jamie (Heather) Fowler of Columbia; four great grandchildren, Virginia Vivian Chiarottino, Silas Asher Alexander, Della Ray Alexander, and Lucille Annalynn Alexander; and one step great grandchild, Jamie Sells along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Charles, and Howard Lynn Jr.; and two sisters, Juanita Isaac and Chloe (Louise) Cox. Mrs. Pabst was a lifetime area resident and a member of the Farber Baptist Church. Vivian enjoyed bird watching, reading, listening to music, and growing roses. She and her husband were always seeing after the less fortunate in their community. And above all, Vivian loved and was devoted to her family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in care of Bienhoff Funeral Home, PO Box 54, Vandalia, MO 63382.
