Florence (Royer) Harmic

<p>Florence L. Royer Harmic, age 79, of Liberty, formerly of Clearfield, went to be with The Lord</p> <p>Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wellsboro.</p> <p>Born March 22, 1942, in Clearfield she was one of five children of the late Alfred and Mildred Laird Royer.</p> <p>On August 26, 1963, Florence and Thomas Harmic were united in marriage.</p> <p>&nbsp;Before her retirement Florence was employed as an accountant for several car dealerships.</p> <p>She was a member of St. Paul&rsquo;s Nauvoo United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and was very active in Liberty Ladies Quilting Group.</p> <p>Florence is survived by her Husband Pastor Thomas Harmic of Liberty, daughters; Renee&rsquo; (Timothy) Gates, Liberty, Bobbi (Paul) Shields, Blossburg, and Robin (Gregory) Purdy, Liberty, a daughter Melissa Myers preceded her in death. Also surviving is a son-in-law Richard Myers, Mt. Wolf, grandchildren; David (Christie) Harmic, Stacey (Hugh) Parsons, Richie Myers, Catie Shields, Ali Shields, and Addison Gates. Great-grandchildren; Amelia Harmic and Evelynn Harmic. Brothers; Leo Royer and Raymond (Susan) Royer, and numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Preceding Florence in death in addition to her parents and daughter Melissa were a brother and sister.</p> <p>Family and friends will be received Wednesday, December 15th at St. Paul&rsquo;s Nauvoo United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. -11 a.m. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. with Sue Heyler, Lay Speaker, officiating. Additional services will be held &nbsp;&nbsp;Thursday, December 16th at Spring Valley United Methodist Church, West Decatur, Pa.&nbsp; Visitation from 1:00 -2:00 service at 2:00. Sue Heyler officiating. Interment will be made at Stoneville Cemetery, Clearfield County.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
